So I didn't make it for the interview at Starbucks. H.E.H.E! I'm sure Elissa is laughing at me now. :P Well, I planned to work long long time ago.. after getting approval from the mama, I was just wandering around.. looking for the perfect part time job. I asked Liang Fang if she wants to work as well.. (since we'll be in the same class) and she seemed interested. As we were approaching the Starbucks retail at New Wing, Sunway Pyramid, I was so nervous and shy to even step into the counter to ask if there's any vacancy available.. hahahaha. What..... I can't help it! I have only worked once before.. and that was a different story.. my Dad was the one who got the job for me. :D But I have only worked for 2 months plus.. then I had to go for the National Service training. -_________- So that's why it was totally awkward for me.. hahaha darn 'xiao jie' right? Finally, Liang Fang and I filled up the Career form and handed it in. About one day later, a lady called up and informed me about the details attending the interview. I asked my mom's opinion about it.. whether or not should I attend the interview.. and she reminded me about cousin brother's wedding dinner on the 6th of September(bride's at Raub, Pahang) and 13th of September(bridegroom's at Malacca). For these two weeks, I won't be able to work on weekends anyway right? So my Mom said no need to work. She kept asking me if I really wanna take up this job. And I answered, 'Hmm.. I rrrreally wanna work when I'm too free, and I hate it when I have to work when I'm occupied with something else.' That was exactly what I said. She agreed with what I said.. And she continued, 'What about like this.. You do house chores for me and I put in additional allowance of RM200?' What do ya'l think?
Anyways, I followed Liang Fang for the interview right after class. Hubby and Shirod tagged along as well. I was such a confused soul. hahaha. I ended up calling the same number who called me up, and not going for the interview.
'Urm, I'm so sorry but I can't make it for the interview today cause I'm currently attending class.'-tipu case.
'Oh? Do you want me to arrange another interview for you then?'
'Urm, but I'm not sure if I can make it.'
'But why? Why can't you make it?' ..She was being very nice..
'Urm, I won't be able to make it though.. Is it ok if I give you a call back later?'
'Alright.. Thanks for calling..'
awwwwww. I feel so bad. But I just didn't know what was the right reply. She rang me up in the afternoon as well.. but my phone was in silent mode. -______________-
p/s: Fang.. I'm so sorry for not being able to work with you.. So sorry..
On the other hand, I don't think I would be able to work anyways.. because Mr.Jay gave us a few chapters to read and catch up by next week. And a few work to do. Plus, I'm afraid that my time management will be gone down the drain if I keep myself occupied due to work. I'm serious.. It's not an excuse.. Many people told me about their experience before. And the finals are on December. -_________________________-
